The side plank test is an easy way to test torso stability. The test can be performed at home.

Procedure

  1. Lie on your side and place your elbow on the floor (below your shoulder);
  2. Keep your feet together;
  3. The time starts when you lift your hip from the floor;
  4. Try to maintain the plank position of as long as possible;
  5. Rest for a few minutes after the attempt and then test the other side.
